Thank you for letting us know what was passed as a resolution regarding this matter. It is important that we do not jump into this uninformed discussion too quickly. This resolution covers the reasons very well. Any one who knows geography, geology, or has a general understanding about the effects of the glacier ages on our own continent knows that there has always been heating and cooling of the weather. I do believe that we must be good stewards of our land, and of our enviornment. However, I also believe that we must be "thinkers" not "joiners" regarding this issue.I also believe that we must teach this to our children so that they will not be "joiners" to national and international discussions without learning all of the background regarding a discussion. Also, we must teach our children a love of this earth because it was given to us to provide for us, to house us, to cloth us, and to give us life. Caring for the environment is a "thank you" to God for His many loving gifts to us.
